For the fifth time since 2011, Tompkins Cortland Community College will host the NJCAA Division III Women’s National Championship Tournament in the sport of Soccer.

Over the years, TC3 have had participants from Georgia, Texas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois, and New York.

All nine games are played on the TC3 Turf between Thursday and Sunday – as teams qualify for the 2019 Championship, the college will update schedules and share them with the campus community at https://www.tcpanthers.com/events/njcaa_championships

Teams spend the week at beautiful Hope Lake Lodge. When not on the field, players and fans really enjoy eating in Cortland and Tompkins County establishments while seeing the sites that we are all familiar with. Tours of Cornell University and Taughannock Falls are especially popular.

The Athletics & Recreation Department is thrilled to bring positive attention to our campus, staff and beautiful surroundings by hosting important events like this championship. The college relies heavily on and are incredibly thankful for the assistance of their Buildings & Grounds, Campus Police, and Communications teams to make this an excellent experience for everyone involved.

In addition to showcasing the College and getting the TC3 name “out there” in numerous ways through advertisement, shares and retweets, the events that the college hosts, provide outstanding real-world experiences for student employees and lifetime memories for the students, families and fans.

The College hopes you take the time to make the short walk up to the turf this November to experience what others are traveling hundreds and, in some cases, over a thousand miles to enjoy.

Lastly, if you are still reading, TC3 is always looking for VOLUNTEERS in many areas!
