Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, October 24

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a near 61 degrees in the afternoon.

There will however be strong southwest winds of up to 15 miles per hour along with gusts as high as 29 miles per hour throughout the day.

It will then begin to get cloudy in the evening with temperatures decreasing to a near 40 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Friday: Mostly cloudy with there being aa 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Showers will most likely start after 8 a.m. Temperatures will reach a high near 55 degrees during the day and drop to around 37 degrees at night.

Saturday: It will be a partly sunny day with there still being a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high of around 46 degrees during the day and drop to a near 32 degrees at night.

Sunday: It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a near 53 degrees in the afternoon. Clouds will then begin to show up in the evening with there being a 30 percent chance of showers at night. Temperatures will also end up dropping to around 37 degrees at night.

Monday: It will be a partly sunny day with temperatures reaching a high of around 55 degrees during the day. Skies will then keep themselves clear at night with temperatures decreasing to a near 38 degrees.
