The winter weather is just around the corner, as temperatures slowly begin to decrease in Cortland County.
For this week's weather forecast, the Weather Channel is predicting snow showers during the evening hours of Thursday, November 7th going into Friday, November 8th.
According to the Weather Channel, forecasters are first predicting rain showers in the beginning of the day on Thursday, but with temperatures then beginning to drop to a low near 17 degrees, showers will be turning into snow as the day goes on.
Snow showers are likely to go into Friday, with there being a 50 percent chance of snow during the day along with temperatures reaching a high of only around 28 degrees.
Forecasters are saying that snow will accumulate from anywhere between one to three inches as of now during these two days.
