Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, November 8

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly cloudy day with there being a 40 percent chance of snow during morning hours.

Snow showers are predicted to stop by around 10 a.m. with it only accumulating to about half an inch.

Temperatures will be increasing to a high near 27 degrees during the day with there also being northwest winds of up to 16 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will finally begin to drop in the evening until reaching a low of around 16 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high near 34 degrees during the day. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening with temperatures decreasing to around 23 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 60 percent chance of snow showers throughout the day. Temperatures will be increasing to a near 41 degrees during the day and will then drop to around 24 degrees at night.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of snow showers during the day. Temperatures will be reaching a high of around 35 degrees during the day and will then decrease to a near 20 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 50 percent chance of snow showers throughout the day. Temperatures will be increasing to a near 29 degrees during the day and will then begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low of around 17 degrees at night.
