Last night, parents of the Marathon boys varsity soccer team held a send-off dinner as the team travels to Middletown to compete at the State Tournament this weekend.
Parents held the dinner all players, coaches and ball boys.
According to Dionne DePuy, there was a ton of food and goody bags containing granola bars, fruit snacks, gatorade, water and much more for all of the players with their names and numbers on them.
The Olympians have already left this morning to go against Fillmore in the States Semi-Finals tomorrow Saturday, November 16th at Faller Field in Middletown. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
