Toys for Tots is a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each Christmas holiday season.
The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
This year, the 2019 Cortland County Toys for Tots Campaign began in November 1st.
Last year (2018), there were a total of 4,813 toys distributed and 1,356 children supported.
Collection boxes will be picked up on the week of December 9th, 2019.

Requirements:
- Recipients must be residents of Cortland County.
- Parent/Guardian ID: Must show photo ID with current Cortland address.
- Child ID: Must show proof of child (birth certificate, guardianship papers, insurance cards).
- One toy request per child— First request processed is notified of shopping appointment; all others denied.
How to apply online:
Toy requests can ONLY be made ONLINE in Cortland County.
Please submit a valid, operating email address when applying. This is how applicants are notified of the assigned shopping date, time, and location.

- Click REQUEST A TOY, select NEW YORK, and then CORTLAND COUNTY.
Please provide the full name and age of each child. Applications cannot be processed without this information.
