Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, November 22

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a partly cloudy day with there being a 60 percent chance of scattered rain showers in the morning.

Chances of showers will then decrease to about 20 percent in the afternoon.

There will be southwest winds from a range of 10 to 17 miles per hour along with wind gusts of up to 31 miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will be reaching a high of around 33 degrees during the day and will then drop to a near 26 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with temperatures increasing to a high near 36 degrees during the day. There will then be a 30 percent chance of showers later in the evening with temperatures dropping to around 28 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 36 degrees during the day. It will then begin to get cloudy in the evening with temperatures dropping to around 28 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly sunny with temperatures reaching a high of around 41 degrees during the day. It will then get cloudy in the event with temperatures decreasing to a near 29 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures increasing to a high of around 47 degrees. It will then begin to get cloudy in the evening with there being a 30 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will finally drop to a near 36 degrees at night.
