Cortland County Sheriff’s Office reports two DWI's from this past weekend

Accused: Dylan T. Witty, 23, of Taylor, NY. 

Charges: Driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor); Driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or greater (misdemeanor); and unsafe tires (violation).

Details: According to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:16 p.m. on Friday November 29th, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance, at a residence in the Town of Taylor. Witty was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was arrested, processed, and later released on appearance tickets.

Witty is due to appear in the Town of Taylor Court on December 18th, 2019 at 6 p.m.

Accused: Terri A. Winslow, 56, of Preble, NY. 

Charges: Driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor); driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or more of alcohol (misdemeanor); and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle to the 3rd degree (misdemeanor). She was also charged with the following Violations: Unlicensed operator; consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle; operating while registration suspended/revoked; operation without insurance; and insufficient turn signal.

Details: Winslow was stopped for an equipment violation on Route 281 in the town of Preble at approximately 9:53 p.m. on Saturday, November 30th, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office. Winslow, was then found to be intoxicated. She was then arrested, processed, and released on appearance tickets.

Winslow is due to appear in the Town of Preble Court on December 10th, 2019 at 6 p.m..
