Cortland Weather Outlook: Monday, December 2

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a mostly cloudy day with there being a 90 percent chance of snow showers throughout the day.

According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected to accumulate to more than 6 inches by the end of the day.

There will also be northeast winds of around 10 miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will be increasing to a high near 30 degrees in the afternoon and will then decrease  to about 20 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Tuesday: Partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high of around 30 degrees during the day. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening with temperatures decreasing to a low near 23 degrees at night.

Wednesday: A mostly cloudy day with there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will be increasing to a high near 36 degrees during the day and will then decrease to a near 27 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will be increasing to a high near 35 degrees during the day and will then drop to around 21 degrees at night

Friday: Partly cloudy with there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day, including snow. Temperatures will be reaching a high of around 36 degrees during the day and will then decrease to a near 19 degrees at night.
