Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, December 6

Your Finger Lakes Weather forecast for Cortland and the surrounding areas for Friday, December 6, 2019:

Another snowy day is in store for the area as low pressure traverses through the region.

Snow will break out during the early morning hours and continue into the mid afternoon. There may be a few lulls within the snow, but most of the time it will snow steadily.

Temperatures will be working against the snow though. After starting the day in the mid 20s, temperatures in the afternoon will jump into the mid and even upper 30s.

Accumulations should be around an inch or two.

Winds will be from the south much of the day, but will swing around to the west-northwest late in the afternoon. Look for wind speeds of 7-12 mph and gusts to 30 mph, mostly late.
