Weekend of Events: What to do around the Cortland County area?

There are always different events and activities happening at and around the Cortland County area on the weekends for people to participate and enjoy.

Here are some of the events happening this weekend in Cortland County:

CNY Living History Center: 3rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair

The CNY Living History Center will be hosting their third Annual Holiday Vendor and Craft Fair on Saturday, December 14th, 2019.

The event will be held at the CNY Living History Center located on 4386 US Route 11 Cortland, NY 13045 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vendors will be filling all of the spaces available and there will also be raffles and food available on-site.

Admission to the event is free.

Wassail and the Sounds of Christmas

This weekend, the 1890 House Museum located on 37 Tompkins St, Cortland, NY 13045, will be hosting their annual Wassail and the Sounds of Christmas event.

The 1890 House Museum will have Wassail and baked goods along with your favorite Christmas songs.

The event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th and then again from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 15th.

Center Wassailers Holiday Concert

On Sunday, December 15th the Center for the Arts of Homer will be hosting the Center Wassailers holiday choral concert.

There will be both new and old holiday songs sung by performers for people to sing along to.

All ages are welcome, and there is no admission fee. However, donations will be gladly accepted.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Whiting Theater located in the Center for the Arts of Homer (72 S Main St, Homer, NY 13077).

Santa Claus at the Cortland Water Works

On Sunday, December 15th, Santa Claus will be coming to town, as he will be making a visit at the Cortland Water Wrks located on 53 Broadway Ave, Cortland, NY 13045.

He will be there to visit all of the boys and girls in the area.

The event will run from 3:30 p.m. to  5 p.m.
