Your Finger Lakes Weather forecast for Cortland and the surrounding areas for Friday, December 27, 2019:
A weak area of low pressure will pass through the region today, resulting in some unsettled weather.
Scattered rain showers are most likely during the morning hours. When it does rain, it will only do so lightly.
Outside of those showers, there will be some areas of fog and drizzle. That will continue into the afternoon as the showers become less common.
Temperatures will work their way into the mid 40s this afternoon, thanks mostly to south and southwest winds. Wind speeds will be 5-10 mph with gusts around 20 mph.
The chances for fog and drizzle will continue into the evening as temperatures slip back into the upper 30s.

Sunday: Cloudy with periods of rain possible, especially later in the day. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Highs in the mid 40s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with on and off rain showers. Temperatures start in the mid 30s and rise to near 40.
Tuesday: Clouds early with a spit of rain or a flurry. Sunny later in the day. Temperatures start in the mid 30s and reach the low 40s.
