Another rainy day is ahead as yesterday’s weather system continues to work through the region.

Unlike the steady rain we saw yesterday, today’s rain should be more on and off and showery. There should be a few breaks in the rain.

Late in the afternoon, there is a small chance that a few pockets of mixed precipitation or ice could develop, but these should be few and far between.

Once the main precipitation moves out by the evening, pockets of freezing drizzle will remain possible into the evening.

Temperatures will not move much during the day today, hovering in the mid to upper 30s. This evening, temperatures will be around the freezing mark.

Winds will be breezy from the southeast at 10-15 mph with gusts as high as 25-30 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy some morning drizzle and afternoon flurries and squalls. Temperatures start in the low 30s and reach the upper 30s.

Wednesday: A few flurries from time to time. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.

Thursday: Sunshine with a few clouds passing through. Morning temperatures in the low 20s with afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with rain developing for the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 30s. High temperatures in the low 40s.
