Here are some of the events happening this weekend in Cortland County:
CCO Youth Orchestra Concert at Rose Hall
On Friday, January 10th, the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra's Youth Orchestra will be presenting a winter concert at Rose Hall, a new music venue located at 19 Church Street in Cortland.
According to the event page, "the concert presents the world debut of 'Shuggie's Boogies', a new composition by Josh Oxford, as well as Borodin Polovtsian Dances featuring the CCOYO Festival chorus and performances of Prokofiev Lieutenant Kije Suite Op. 60 and Mendelssohn Violin Concerto featuring concerto competition winner Kate Wyly."
The concert is free for people of all ages, and will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

SUNY Cortland Swimming & Diving meet vs. New Paltz
On Friday January 10th, SUNY Cortland's men's and women's swimming & diving teams will be competing against New Paltz.
The meet will take place at 4 p.m. at Park Center on SUNY Cortland’s campus.
SUNY Cortland Men's and Women's Basketball Games
This weekend, SUNY Cortland's men's and women's basketball teams will each play two games at home.
Both the women’s and men's teams will be facing Buffalo State and Fredonia this weekend.
The women’s team will play first on both Friday and Saturday with the men’s team to follow. Friday’s games against Buffalo State will start at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday’s games against Fredonia will start at 2 p.m.
All games will be played at Park Center on SUNY Cortland’s campus.
