Back by popular demand, Chill-A-Bration will take place this year on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Sampling will take place from 12pm-4pm with awards given out at 4:30pm.

Timothy A. Bennett, Owner & Publisher of the Cortland Voice (as well as the licensed owner of FunFlicks Indoor and Outdoor Movies in Cortland County) is pleased to oversee this year’s event. Even though it’s his first time making the executive decisions with Chill-A-Bration, Bennett is confident that it will continue to be a great event that brings hundreds to downtown Cortland.

“I believe in community,” said Bennett. “I look forward to seeing the streets filled with residents of Cortland and the surrounding counties on the 29th. It will be fun for all ages, and who doesn’t love chili and food sampling?! When I heard about the event years ago, my first thought was ‘count me in!’”

Chill-A-Bration first began in 2008 at Courthouse Park, and was eventually moved to downtown Cortland as a walking, sample tour. Attendees are able to sample foods and drinks from local businesses, while meeting others and enjoying downtown Cortland.

Local businesses and restaurants feature  a food item (some have beverages) to compete for different awards. More details will be released in the near future at “www.CortlandVoice.com”.
