The McGraw varsity girls volleyball team defeated Cincinnatus on senior night!

Last night, the McGraw varsity girls volleyball team defeated the Cincinnatus Lions in four sets (3-1) for a successful senior night. 

The McGraw Eagles got a head start over the Lions, after winning the first two sets of the game (25-14) and (25-15). 

In the third set, Cincinnatus won by a close (24-26), in hopes of a comeback. The Eagles secured the win in the fourth set (25-14).

McGraw senior Kaylee Streeter led the Eagles with 12 assists (she also had four aces). Freshman Megan Stull had eight kills, while senior Ashley White contributed with eight assists. 

Aubree Nate led Cincinnatus with 12 kills and 10 digs. 

The girls have come such a long way this season,” stated McGraw Head Coach Jessyca Doran. “We are a young team, and are learning to work together.”

Up next, both McGraw and Cincinnatus will be participating in the CCL tournament at 9:30 am. this Saturday, January 25th at Stockbridge Valley. Other teams in the tournament include Brookfield, DeRuyter, and Stockbridge Valley.
