In the wake of a busy, albeit low impact weather weekend, today’s weather will clear out a bit before more active weather settles in.

Thicker clouds this morning will move out by midday, leaving sunshine to mix with some thin clouds. No precipitation will fall.

With the aid of the sunshine, temperatures will be warmer than the last several days, rising through the 30s to an afternoon high near 40 degrees.

Winds will be from the west or northwest at 7-12 mph through the morning and early afternoon. During this time, gusts could reach 25-30 mph.

During the late afternoon, the wind will become nearly calm.

Tuesday: Increasingly cloudy but staying dry. Lows near 30. Highs in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: A mix of cloudy and sunny periods. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Highs in the upper 20s.

Thursday: Mixed or icy precipitation turning to rain late. Lows in the low 20s. Highs in the mid 30s.

Friday: Periods of snow, possibly mixing with a little rain or sleet early. Morning temperatures in the low 30s, then dropping into the 20s for the afternoon.
