Another weak system is moving through the region this morning. Precipitation has mostly been snow, but may mix with a little rain at times this morning.

All the precipitation should be light. Look for the precipitation to taper off and end during the midday hours. The afternoon will be cloudy.

Temperatures will only rise a couple degrees today, topping out in the mid to perhaps upper 30s.

Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph through about noon. After that, they will shift to the northwest at 3-7 mph.

This evening will be cloudy and quiet with temperatures dipping into the upper 20s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with perhaps an afternoon rain shower. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a few flurries early. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Thursday: Rain showers, perhaps mixing with snow or ice early, and then turning back to snow late. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Friday: Lake effect snow showers. Colder with morning lows in the mid single digits and afternoon highs in the mid teens.
