Your Finger Lakes Weather forecast for Cortland and the surrounding areas for Monday, February 17, 2020:
A subtle cold front is working through the region early this morning.
Clouds and a few scattered snow showers will accompany the front through the mid-morning hours.
The middle of the day will start to see a bit of sunshine poking through, with sunny skies later in the afternoon.
Winds behind the front will turn to the northwest. Wind speeds will be between 3-7 mph until the late afternoon, when the winds will turn calm.
Temperatures will be a bit cooler than yesterday with highs reaching about 30 degrees. A quick drop back into the teens will occur this evening before south winds return and halt the falling temperatures overnight.

Tuesday: Cloudy with periods snow ending as rain. An inch or two of accumulation. Morning temperatures in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs near 40.
Wednesday: Morning clouds and flurries. A little late sun. Temperatures start in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.
Thursday: Scattered lake effect snow showers. Morning lows in the upper single digits. Afternoon highs in the upper teens.
Friday: Lots of sunshine. Morning lows in the mid single digits. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.
