Homer freshman, Sam Sorenson places 1st (at 220lbs) in the Section III Division II Tournament.
The Cortland and Homer varsity wrestling teams competed in the Section III Division II tournament this past Saturday, February 15th.
Homer Freshman Sam Sorenson placed first in the tournament at 220 lbs, after defeating Alex Thompson (Sherburne-Earlville) in overtime. Sorenson will be moving on to the State tournament in Albany (Times Union Center) on the weekend of February 28th-29th.
