Today will be a day of change as our pattern heads back toward mild weather.

This morning, a few clouds and a stray flurry off Lake Ontario are scattered around the area. These will diminish as the morning goes on.

By this afternoon, skies should be filled with sunshine. A few thin clouds will start to filter in late in the day.

Winds will remain from the northwest at 5-10 mph through the mid-afternoon. After that time, winds will become nearly calm. A southeast wind will develop after sunset with speeds around 5 mph.

Temperatures will be warmer than the last few days thanks to the sun and diminishing winds. Look for highs to reach the low 30s.

Evening temperatures will dip into the 20s and hold steady overnight.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a few rain showers, especially late. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs near 50.

Tuesday: Cloudy with some afternoon rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Perhaps a rain shower. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Thursday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs near 50.
