Warm air will surge back into the area today after a warm front moved through overnight.

Much of the daytime will have a mix of sun and clouds, though a few cloudier periods and even a shower will be possible. Clouds will thicken and the chances for rain will increase this evening as showers become more widespread.

South and southwest winds will be a touch on the blustery side with speeds of 10-15 mph and gusts around 30 mph.

The bits of sunshine and south winds will propel temperatures upward. Highs should get just above 50 degrees for the afternoon.

Tonight, temperatures will retreat to around 40 degrees for the evening and into the 30s for the overnight.

Tuesday: Cloudy with some afternoon rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Perhaps a rain shower. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Thursday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Friday: Cooler with snow showers possibly mixing with rain. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
