A cold front will blow through the region today, accompanied by cooler temperatures and blustery winds.

Most of the rain from this system is already moving through early this morning. By the mid-morning hours, only a few stray showers will be left.

During the afternoon, the clouds should break up, and sunshine will take over.

However, after the cold front moves through late this morning, winds will increase further, and temperatures will drop.

West-northwest winds will gust between 35-45 mph well into the afternoon before dropping this evening with gusts of 25-30 mph.

Temperatures will peak late this morning, just before the front in the low 50s. From there, it will be a slow but steady drop through the 40s. Once the sun sets, temperatures will drop into the 30s.

Tuesday: More clouds than sun. Perhaps a shower. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
