Temperatures will be closer to the seasonal norms today behind Friday’s cold front.

High pressure from the Midwest will take control of our weather with northwest winds supplying slightly cooler, but not yet overly cold air.

These northwest winds will blow at 10-15 mph in the morning before dropping to 5-10 mph for the afternoon. Top gusts will be during the morning around 30 mph.

Temperatures will rise through the 30s this morning to a high around 40 degrees. This is very typical for mid-March and is within just a couple degrees of the actual statistical average.

No precipitation will fall today. Skies will be mixed this morning, then turn sunny for a while. Through the afternoon, a layer of thin clouds will build in, filtering some of the sunshine.

Quiet conditions will remain overnight with temperatures dropping back into the 20s.
