Tompkins Cortland Community College has elected to begin Spring Break on Wednesday, March 18. By doing so, the college will be providing an additional opportunity for students and faculty to transition to online/remote learning.

The college will remain fully operational until further notice. This decision was made in response to the announcement that K-12 schools in Tompkins County will be closed until April 13. This decision has been made in consultation with the Tompkins County Health Department. Please know that the college remains committed to the academic success of students and the health and well-being of the entire community.

It is important to know THE COLLEGE IS NOT CLOSING. The college will be changing the delivery of most courses, beginning when Spring Break ends on March 30. The college may be considering exceptions for labs and clinicals. All other services will be available. Residence halls will remain open for the remainder of the semester.

There is now one confirmed case of COVID-19 in Tompkins County.
