Clouds will be on the increase today as a small weather maker targets the region for the overnight hours and Tuesday.

After starting with sun this morning, a deck of thin clouds will work in by midday. These clouds should continue to thicken through the afternoon and into the evening.

No precipitation is expected during the daytime hours. Light precipitation will start to show up in the late evening and into the overnight.

Temperatures should be just cold enough for this to fall mostly as snow. A light dusting on grassy surfaces will be possible by Tuesday morning.

Daytime temperatures will be milder, though. Look for highs this afternoon to reach the mid 40s.

South winds will be responsible for the temperatures. Morning wind speeds will be around 5 mph, increasing to 10 mph in the afternoon. The wind will be between 10-15 mph for the evening with gusts approaching 30 mph.

Friday: Cloudy with periods of rain likely. Maybe some thunder. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.
