Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, March 24, 2020:

Our region will be between systems today with a cool, damp atmosphere.

Areas of fog along with spotty drizzle and flurries will be possible through the morning. These should gradually come to an end by midday.

The afternoon will remain cloudy though, with only a small chance for a couple glimpses of sunshine poking through the clouds late in the day. No precipitation is expected, however.

Temperatures will be slow to move, rising only around 40 degrees this afternoon.

Light northwest winds will slowly turn to the north this afternoon. Wind speeds most of the day will be near or under 5 mph. Winds will swing around to the east this evening but will only increase slightly.

Evening temperatures will drop into the upper 20s.

Friday: Partly cloudy and dry. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Saturday: Rain showers likely. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.
