Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, March 31, 2020:

Even though March came in like a lamb, it will go out like one too with little active weather expected today.

A few more lingering showers can be expected this morning behind the weekend’s storm system. Moisture will start to pull away this afternoon, and the chances for rain will become less.

Clouds will remain thick until the evening and overnight, when some clearing will take hold.

Temperatures will gradually rise this morning, topping out in the mid 40s this afternoon. Evening temperatures will then slowly fall back toward 40 and into the 30s overnight.

Light winds will be from the east and northeast at or below 5 mph. Top gusts will only be around 12 mph.

Wednesday: Morning clouds giving way to sunshine. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: Clouds with a small chance for a rain shower. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Saturday: Clouds and some breaks of sun. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.
