Cortland City Police & Cortland County Sheriff's Office to help escort nurses down to New York City

This is a press release from the Cortland City Police Department.

Twenty-five (25) Upstate Hospital nurses have volunteered to travel to New York City to assist in treating of COVID-19 patients.

The nurses are scheduled to leave Upstate at about 8am tomorrow, April 9, 2020.  The Cortland City Police and Cortland County Sheriff's Office will assist in the escort of these devoted professionals, as they travel through Cortland County along Route 81, en route to the life saving missions that lie before them.
