Village of Homer Budget and Program Costs for 2020-2021 Fiscal Year

Personnel Furloughs:

  • 2 Part-Time Crossing Guards
  • 4 DPW/ Park Department Employees
  • 1 Recreation Department Employee
  • 1 Village Office Employee

Programs Cut in Parks/ Recreation:

  • Park Rentals through the end of July
  • Cathy Stage Softball
  • Finger Lakes Softball
  • Homer Little League
  • Summer Learn to Swim
  • Summer Tennis Program
  • Summer Concert Series
  • Community Gardens

The Village of Homer is anticipating holding the following programs, although details are still in process:

  • Farmers Market with an anticipated opening date of June 3, 2020
  • Summer Arts and Crafts Program using zoom for on-line instruction and project pickups by designated times

Note: In these unprecedented times, the Village Board will continue to review the situation to determine if programs can be added back safely, held at a later time, or a new program added later in the year.
