A cold front will push through the region today, erasing the warmth and kicking off another period of below average temperatures.

Out ahead of this front, some scattered light rain showers are likely. These will be most likely throughout this morning, but a few may linger into the afternoon as well.

Clouds will be thick throughout the day until a little sunshine breaks through at the very end of the day. The evening will quickly turn mostly clear.

Temperatures will not have much chance to rise before the front arrives and will spend most of the day in the mid 40s.

Northwest winds of 5-10 mph will increase to near 15 mph this afternoon. Gusts will top out near 35 mph.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. A few showers late. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Thursday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Friday: Cloudy with periods of rain. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.
