Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, May 7

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Thursday, May 7, 2020:

Most of today will be tranquil but a late weather system will swing in from the northwest.

Sunshine this morning will gradually mix with clouds, but at least partial sunshine should remain in place much of the day.

Around dinnertime, a few scattered rain showers will start to move in. Some areas may not see any rain, and those that do will only see light amounts.

The rain should move out quickly and be over by 10 PM.

The sunshine and west winds will help temperatures warm into the low and mid 50s. As usual, the southern part of the county will be a couple degrees warmer than the north.

Evening temperatures will quickly fall into the upper 30s as the cold front responsible for the showers moves through.
