An area of low pressure in the mid-levels of the atmosphere will swing into the region late today after another cold, frosty start.

The sunshine this morning will quickly mix with and be replaced by clouds before midday. A few breaks of sun may linger into the afternoon, but they will become fewer and further between.

High temperatures will only be in the mid 40s, about twenty degrees below average.

No precipitation is expected until after 5 PM, when a few rain or snow showers will pass through. None of the precipitation will be heavy or long lasting.

Skies will clear again overnight, allowing temperatures to fall through the 30s this evening and into the upper 20s after midnight.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
