High pressure will move through today bringing sunshine and the promise of warmer temperatures.

We are off to another very cold, frosty start, but the sunshine should give temperatures a quick boost this morning.

By the afternoon, highs should be peaking in the low 50s. This is still far below average but is the first signs of a major pattern shift that will finally have it feeling like Spring.

Clouds will be few and far between today, if any small wisps manage to develop at all. Clear skies will linger into the evening before some thin clouds begin to work in after midnight.

Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph with gusts reaching 25 mph.

Tonight, winds will turn more southerly, keeping evening temperatures in the mid and low 30s.

Thursday: Increasing clouds with afternoon showers. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs near 60.

Friday: Cloudy with periods of rain. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.
