Your Cortland County weather forecast for Saturday, May 30, 2020:
One cold front moved through last night, but it will be a second front today that really cools our weather down.
Clouds will mix with some sunny breaks today, with more clouds early on and more sun in the midday and early afternoon hours. Later this afternoon, as the second front moves in, several scattered rain showers are expected.
The rain should not last too long and the sun will probably be out shortly thereafter. Partly cloudy skies will linger into the evening.
Out ahead of the front, winds will be from the west at 5-10 mph. The wind will turn more northwesterly late behind the front. Top gusts today will be between 25-30 mph.
The west winds today will bring in somewhat cooler air, with highs topping out close to 70 degrees. Evening temperatures will quickly fall through the 50s and into the 40s overnight.
