Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, June 2, 2020:
An active jet stream pattern will bring some showers and possibly a few thunderstorms to the area today.
The chances for rain and especially thunderstorms will be greatest this evening. A few isolated showers could move through at about any time, though.
The majority of the pre-dusk showers will be brief and light. The rain chances increase tonight.
Outside of the showers, a few glimpses of sunshine will be possible, but otherwise, it will be rather cloudy.
Winds will be from the southwest at around 10 mph. Peak gusts will be 20-25 mph.
High temperatures will reach the mid 60s, though a few of the higher elevations in the county may stick in the low 60s. Temperatures will back into the upper 50s tonight.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a few afternoon showers or storms. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs near 80.
Saturday: Sun and clouds. Scattered pop-up afternoon showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
