Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, June 4

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Thursday, June 4, 2020:

Warmer air will work into the region today as the clouds and showers of the last couple days thin out.

Skies this morning will have some thin clouds early on that will be joined by puffy cumulus clouds before noon. These clouds will continue through the afternoon, but there should be a good deal of sun shining through them.

No precipitation is expected during the daytime hours. This evening, a complex of thunderstorms to the south may clip the area with some rain showers.

Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph. Top gusts will reach 20-25 mph.

The southwest winds will bring in some warmer air, which the sunshine will help reach more of its potential. Look for highs near or slightly above 80 degrees.
