Your Cortland County weather forecast for Saturday, June 6, 2020:
A weak cold front moved through the region after midnight last night, setting us up for some slightly cooler temperatures.
Some clouds associated with the front will continue to depart this morning, and a brief spit of rain may also be possible very early on.
Sunshine will increase and puffy cumulus clouds will develop. By the late afternoon, a second front approaching from the north may touch off a few small, isolated showers. A few rumbles of thunder may even be possible, but most areas will not see any rain at all.
Winds will be steady from the northwest at around 10 mph today. Peak gusts will be near or just shy of 30 mph.
The northwest winds will start to bring in cooler air, but highs will still reach the low 70s this afternoon. Evening temperatures will drop though the 60s and into the 50s under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.

Monday: Mostly sunny with some passing thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs near 70.
Tuesday: Lots of sun. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
