Cortland Weather Outlook: Wednesday, June 24

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Wednesday, June 24, 2020:

A cold front moved through last night, setting us up for a pleasant summer day.

Skies will be sunny after any lingering clouds behind the front clear out early on this morning. Then, afternoon fair-weather clouds will bubble up.

The chances for rain are almost, but not quite zero. A small, isolated, brief shower cannot be totally ruled out, but the chances of staying dry are much higher.

Winds will shift from the southwest to the west and end up northwesterly today. Wind speeds will be around 10 mph with gusts approaching 30 mph.

Temperatures will be seasonable behind the front, with highs in the upper 70s. Tonight, temperatures will fall into the 60s and eventually 50s as skies clear.
