Unofficial Local Primary Results

Here are the unofficial results from yesterday's Primaries in connection to Cortland County. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and with a large amount of voters casting absentee ballots, official results are not expected until the end of the month of June.

125th Assembly District

Based on the unofficial results from yesterday’s ballots, Anna Kelles is leading the District 125th Assembly race with 33 percent of votes. Following in second, is Seph Murtagh with nearly 20 percent of votes. Sujata Gibson is at 15.1 percent, Jordan Lesser is at 14.9 percent, followed by Jason Leifer, Beau Harbin, and Lisa Hoeschele.

22nd Congressional District

According to the unofficial results of the Republican Primary race in the 22nd Congressional District, Claudia Tenney has taken a convincing lead over George Phillips with 69.6 percent of the votes vs. Phillip’s 33.4 percent. The winner of this race will be running against Representative Anthony Brindisi in the fall, who ran unopposed in the Democratic, Independence, and Working Families Parties.
