This is a press release from the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce will be moving our offices to the first floor of 81-85 Main Street in the building recently purchased by Jamie Yaman and Steve Franco. “Main Street is the perfect location for us”, stated Chamber President Bob Haight. “The ability to promote our members will be enhanced by the additional visibility and walk in traffic by visitors, residents, and business owners.” We will have our offices, and entrance lobby, along with meeting space for our many programs. “We’re honored to work with Jamie and Steve on the space to make it a premier location on Main Street. The build out has just begun and we’ll spend the next four months planning how to best utilize the space, always with our members in mind,” stated Haight.

“We are absolutely thrilled that the Chamber of Commerce has decided to relocate and return to Main Street. We are at the beginning stages of a complete rebuild and reimagining of Downtown and having the Chamber located in the center of our business district is going to be a real asset to existing businesses and those businesses that choose to move downtown in the future. As we undertake this massive renovation project of the Hopkins Block building, a perennially vacant and deteriorating building, we can’t think of a better tenant to help us anchor the first floor.” - Steve Franco

The Chamber of Commerce is happy to partner with local member businesses, the best there is, to make our new offices state of the art.
