A dry and hot day is ahead for the region.

That will give the hot airmass overhead free reign. Temperatures will quickly rise this morning and top out near 90 degrees this afternoon.
Dewpoints will be in the mid 60s, making it feel muggy, but not oppressively so.
Today’s winds will be from the south with a turn to the southeast late. Winds speeds will be at or below 5 mph with gusts around 12 mph.
Tonight will be clear and humid with temperatures only slowly falling through the 70s.
