Low pressure will be replaced by high pressure today, taking us from cloudy and showery to sunny.

The rain today will be limited to the early morning and should taper off to a few isolated sprinkles for the mid and late morning hours. By noon, precipitation should be over in our region.

The afternoon will then transition to sunnier skies with a clear evening and overnight ahead.

Temperatures will benefit from the afternoon sunshine and should be around 80 degrees.

Winds will be out of the northwest at around 10 mph this evening before dropping to near 5 mph this afternoon. Top gusts, also in the morning, will be around 25 mph.
