Unsettled weather will continue today as a slow moving weather system meanders through the region.

The morning hours should stay mostly quiet with more clouds than sun. A stray shower here and there cannot be ruled out though.

The better chance for rain will come during the afternoon. Daytime heating will lead to pop-up scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Some gusty winds and heavy rain will be possible with a couple of the storm cells, but most areas will not see those.

Showers and storms will dissipate quickly as the sun sets and by the mid-evening, the area should be rain-free with mixed skies. A few areas of patchy fog may develop if it rains hard in any given location.

With plenty of cloud cover and the showers, temperatures will reach a high in the upper 70s, despite a southwest wind of 5-10 mph. Late in the day, the wind will turn more westerly.

Monday: Scattered morning showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
