High pressure will build in today, giving the unsettled weather of the last couple days the boot.

Skies this morning will be rather cloudy but sunshine will increase by midday. The afternoon will have a mix of sun and fair-weather clouds.

A stray shower during the first half of the morning cannot be totally ruled out, but the chances for rain are very low and limited to that time. The rest of the day will remain dry.

A slight breath of north wind will blow today with speeds under 5 mph and gusts of only 10-12 mph.

High temperatures will be near the seasonal averages, topping out around 80 degrees.

Skies will be clear tonight. Based on the forecast for the next few days, this may be the best chance to see Comet Neowise before it disappears. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s late this evening.
