With high pressure now centered off the southeast coast of the United States, our temperatures will continue to rise today.
With the high still in control, today will be another dry day.
However, thin clouds will continue to be plentiful on the southern edge of influence from a front to the north. A few fair-weather clouds may bubble up as well.
Winds will be from the west at 5-10 mph. Gusts will be near or just over 20 mph.
Those winds will continue to pump warmer air into the region. Highs today will be in the upper 80s, though a few of the usually warmer areas could hit 90 degrees.
Skies may clear some tonight as temperatures slowly retreat through the 70s.

Monday: A few scattered showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs near 90.
Tuesday: Early showers and thunderstorms, then some sun. Morning lows in the low 70s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower or storm. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
Thursday: Sun and clouds. Very small chance for a shower or storm. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
