A cold front is moving through the area early this morning and will set up a pleasant day.

Winds will turn from the west to the northwest as the front progresses to our east. Northwest winds will continue through the day at 5-10 mph. A few gusts will reach 20 mph.

These winds will bring in dry, slightly cooler air. The drop in humidity will be especially noticeable, with dewpoints dropping from near 70 yesterday afternoon to the mid 50s this afternoon.

Temperatures will be about ten degrees cooler than yesterday and right near the seasonal average in the low 80s.

Precipitation is not expected today thanks to the dry air. Any lingering clouds this morning will give way to a mix of sunshine and fair-weather clouds.

Tonight, skies will clear and temperatures will back through the 60s.
