A quieter, drier day is in store behind Tropical Storm Isaias as high pressure pushes into the area.

Clouds and an isolated shower or two will continue in the wake of Isaias this morning. Most areas will probably not see any rain though.

By midday, breaks of sunshine will start to appear and will increase through the afternoon. The chances for rain will decrease to near zero.

High temperatures this afternoon will be a touch below average in the low 70s.

Winds will be from the west-northwest at 5-10 mph. Top gusts on the day should be near 20 mph.

Tonight, skies will clear and temperatures will drop through the 60s and into the 50s. A few areas of river valley fog may develop, especially towards dawn Thursday.

Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds. Maybe a morning shower. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs near 80.
