The Cortland County Health Department has confirmed one location of potential exposure to a COVID-19 positive customer at the location listed. This customer was wearing a mask while in the business. Contact tracing has been completed by the health department staff.
Members of the public who were at the following business on the day and time listed may have been exposed;
TJ Nails & Spa, 3921 NY-281, Cortland, NY
- Monday, August 3: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Anyone who may have been exposed at the location listed should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 such as: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/ or diarrhea for 14 days after their potential exposure. If symptoms do develop, stay home and call your doctor for further guidance about testing.
If you are elderly, have underlying medical conditions, or are immunocompromised, call your doctor early even if your illness is mild. In an emergency call 911. If you are tested for COVID-19, please stay home and away from other people until you receive your test results.
It is important that residents remain diligent and continue to do their part to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please continue to protect yourself and others by wearing a face covering when you are out in public, maintain social distancing, wash your hands and stay home when ill. These guidelines are for all of our protection to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
