Sheriff: Man arrested for possession of methamphetamine after traffic stop

On August 8th, 2020 at approximately 1:30 AM, Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were patrolling the area of Madison Street in the City of Cortland. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation and through the investigation, it was determined the male defendant was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license while also in possession of Methamphetamine.

Shingler was arrested, processed and released on appearance tickets to appear in Cortland City Court October 16th, 2020 9:00 AM.
